“ It’s because of the 381 features and quality that we wanted to give the Make a Wish organization these gloves as a gift and contribute also to keep making true children’s wishes. ”

On the 10th of June, a solidarity event called Rope for Hope was held by the organization Make-A-Wish at the World Trade Center building in Amsterdam.

Rope for Hope is a unique experience where everybody can take on the challenge of abseiling from iconic buildings in the Netherlands with the goal of collecting money. All the collected funds will help to fulfill the dearest wishes of children affected by serious, sometimes even life-threatening illnesses.

We, as SHOWA Group, decided to act and participate in this initiative. Not to go rappelling down from the World Trade Center, but to donate a box full of samples of our 381 SHOWA Gloves.

The 381 ultra-lightweight is perfect for high-grip jobs. Those gloves are designed with flexibility and comfort in mind, even during periods of extended wear. Using ultra-thin, breathable materials that reduce palm sweat in warm environments and increase comfort and grip within the glove.

It’s because of the 381 features and qualities that we wanted to give the Make-a-Wish organization these gloves as a gift and contribute also to keep making true children’s wishes.

We support the “Rope For Hope” campaign and what they stand for and wanted to make sure the rappelers have the best possible hand protection to continue abseiling from these iconic buildings in The Netherlands. We, as SHOWA Group, are glad to be able to help with what we do best, hand protection, and we hope that the great people from Make-A-Wish continue to fulfill children’s wishes.
